Samuel Pagliarini

SAFEST Project Coordinator. Professor and Head of the Centre for Hardware, Security Dept. of Computer Systems, Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Estonia.

Prof. Pagliarini is a professor of Hardware Security in the Department of Computer Systems at TalTech. He also leads the Centre for Hardware Security at TalTech. Prior to this position, he has held research appointments at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA) and at the University of Bristol (Bristol, UK). 

His primary research interest is in trust of integrated circuits. He is currently recruiting PhD students and postdocs to work on the following topics: 
– Trustworthy integrated circuit (IC) design
– Electronic design automation (EDA) for secure systems 
– Hardware trojans
– Reverse engineering
– Circuit obfuscation
